Our Ethos
I am writing to you with regards to a new startup I am founding called Flourishbydesign. Inspired by the interviews I have been doing around Ethical Design Thinking.
In recent years I have become passionate about finding solutions to our many global challenges. I am founding Flourishbydesign to partner with individuals and businesses to focus on reaching the UN Global Goals. The Sustainable Development Goals or Global Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all". The SDGs were set up in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030.
As an award-winning graphic designer working in visual communications with top brands for the past 25 years, both in Scotland and Ireland. Partner at Bennis Design since 2002, working with Irish Government agencies helping to create physical and mental health, environmental and innovation-based initiatives. I now feel it is time to transform thinking around branding to Conscious Branding and Eco-Innovation.
Flourishbydesign aims to consciously redesign our lives & businesses in harmony with nature.
Offering a 3 step approach:
Retreat. with the support from our Wellbeing network of Health & Wellbeing professionals.
Rethink. with the aid of our Ethical Design Thinking Academy online courses.
Redesign. with inspirational conversations from our Awarding Winning Eco Innovators.
I am also offering a Flourishbydesign Ambassadorship Program in partnership with the UN to help hit the targets outlined by 2030. Flourishbydesign Ambassadors will receive the official logo for use on their website etc.
The aim is to raise awareness for active participation for a societal shift to Empower Conscious Brand Creation in the World.
